Assistant Professor of Sociology
Lindsey Peterson is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Mississippi State University. Her research is primarily on the ways that countries coordinate and compete in the world polity, and how attitudes toward risk, health, and well-being are shaped by country-context. She earned her PhD in Sociology from Ohio State University in 2011.
As a political sociologist, Dr. Peterson teaches courses on inequality, power, politics, conflict, and statistics.
Her research has appeared in Social Science & Medicine, Social Forces, International Sociology, and Teaching Sociology.
